Welcome to Forex Shield. Our application is designed to help traders monitor macroeconomic events and avoid trading during restricted time windows as defined by various proprietary trading firms.
2. Data Collection
To provide our services, we collect the following necessary user data during account creation and profile setup:
- Personal Info: Username, Email Address, and Phone Number (Mobile).
- Authentication: Passwords (securely hashed) via standard Username and Password authentication.
- Preferences: Monitored prop firms, timezone, and country region.
- Device Data: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) tokens for push notifications.
3. Data Security & Encryption
Your privacy and data security are our top priorities. We employ industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Our backend infrastructure is hosted on secure cloud providers (Supabase & Firebase) undergoing independent security reviews to meet global security standards.
4. Account & Data Deletion Instructions
We provide full control over your data. You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
How to Request Account Deletion
- Option 1 (In-App): Open the Forex Shield app, navigate to the Profile Screen, and tap the red Delete Account button at the bottom of the page. Follow the prompts to permanently erase your data.
- Option 2 (Via Email): Send an email to forexshield@urhs.in from your registered email address with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When an account deletion is processed:
- Your Username, Email, and Phone Number are immediately and permanently deleted from our active databases.
- Your Prop Firm Preferences and Notification Tokens are erased.
- No data is kept or retained beyond standard automated system backups, which are flushed within 30 days.
5. Request Partial Data Deletion
If you wish to retain your account but want specific data deleted (e.g., clearing your phone number, or resetting your firm preferences), you can do so directly within the App's Profile settings or by emailing our support team with a specific "Data Deletion Request".
